RODRIGO GARCÍA LUCAS

Rodrigo García Lucas is an expert in labor law with broad experience counseling national corporations, multinational companies, senior managers, athletes and artists.

Moreover, Rodrigo is an expert in the national and international transfers of soccer players, providing advice on the various legal matters regarding transfers and employment contracts, intermediation, TPO, exploitation of image, etc.

Previous Experience

Before joining Laffer Abogados, he developed his career for more than eight years within the Employment and Sports Law Department of Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira. Before that, he worked as an associate lawyer at Araoz & Rueda and started his professional career as a lawyer in the International Employment Relationships Department of Electrabel (Group Suez) in Brussels.

Educational Activities

Coauthor of several books on sports law (“El Deporte Profesional” among others) and author of a number of technical articles published in various media. Rodrigo is a lecturer in the Master’s of International Law and in the L.L.M in International Sports Law as well as in the Post-graduate Master’s Degree in Law at San Pablo University CEU.
