Maite Nadal Charco
Maite specializes in Procedural Law, with extensive experience in all types of civil proceedings related to property law and national and international arbitration.
She has specifically developed her professional practice in Sports Law: negotiating and drafting federation contracts, sponsorships, etc., and advising clients (athletes, agents, public and private sports entities, audiovisual and sports management companies) on matters related to image rights, television rights, sponsorships, etc.
She has defended clients in courts and tribunals and in arbitration proceedings in both national and international courts.
- Arbitrator for the Tribunal Arbitral du Sport/Court of Arbitration for Sport (TAS/CAS) located in Lausanne (Switzerland), included in the general list and the specialized Football list.
- Arbitrator for the European Handball Court of Arbitration.
- Arbitrator for the Spanish Court of Arbitration for Sport (TEAD), under the Spanish Olympic Committee (COE).
- Sports Arbitrator for the Brazilian Center for Mediation and Arbitration (“CBMA”).
- Member of the Court of Appeals and Discipline of the Royal Spanish Automobile Federation (RFEDA).
- Permanent arbitrator for the Committee of Experts in the Sports and Entertainment Industry of the Court of Arbitration of the European Association of Arbitration.
- Arbitrator for the Alternative Dispute Resolution Body of the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation (RFEA).
- Member of the specialized working group on Sports and Entertainment of the Madrid International Arbitration Center – Ibero-American Arbitration Center (CIAM-CIAR).
- Member of the executive committee of the AIAF (International Association of Football Lawyers).
She combines her professional practice with teaching in national and international Master’s programs on subjects related to the procedural aspects of sports law.

Founding partner of “NF Sports law,” a firm specializing in Sports Law, where she directed the contracting and litigation area.
Previously, she headed the procedural and sports department at the firm “TEBAS & COIDURAS – SPORT LAW.”
