Germán Martínez Ferrando
Germán Martínez Ferrando specializes in providing legal and employment advising to both national and international companies and groups, as well as to executives, on all labor and Social Security matters, as well as contracting, remuneration systems and plans, transfers and displacements, restructuring and termination of employment contracts, collective bargaining or labor compliance, among others.
He also has extensive litigation experience in all types of proceedings and administrative matters, pre-trial and trial, participating in all their stages.
Previous Experience
Before joining Laffer Abogados, Germán developed his professional career in the Labor Department of Baker & McKenzie Madrid for fourteen years as a part of various work groups such as Baker & McKenzie Madrid’s multidisciplinary Compliance Group, or Baker & McKenzie’s European Employment Practice Group and EMEA Compliance Practice Group.
Educational Activities
Germán has authored numerous articles and legal commentaries in the press and specialized publications and has participated in writing legal books and manuals. He has also been a speaker at numerous conferences on Labor Law and Social Security. He has also taught in the Faculty of Law of Comillas Pontifical University (ICADE), in the Faculty of Law of Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and in his Master’s in Legal Practice, as well as in the Bar Association of Madrid.
